Paris, Purses and Puddings!

Finally a moment to sit down and catch up - seem to have been on the go for a while and not so much time for stitching.  So after four great days in Paris and not one to put up the usual touristy photos - here's a couple of quirky images, which sumed up my weekend.

Just happend to walk by this - would rather like one of these in my garden!

Oh la la! This crystal creation was part of the exhibition in the Napoleon 111 apartments in the Louvre.  Might take a bit of dusting but.... some dressing table though huh?

And finally, Paris - the city of fasion and ateliers -

thought this picture turned out to be rather fun!

We have visitors this weekend and supper for 12 to fix for saturday evening....definitely on a french theme I think, so been a bit busy, but did manage to fit in a quick bit of stitching - using up some of the fabrics left over from my picnic quilt.  This is a little gift for someone and I am not sure how to give it away, its so sweet.... oh well, just have to make another one next week!

Anyhow, must dash - off to attempt the wonder that is 'Tarte Tatin' .... back next week though with lots more sewing.   Happy weekend Love Ruby x
