It is such a busy time of year.... so just a quick posting today to say that I am happy to share with you a new pattern 'On the Garden Fence'. This time it is a cute cushion design with a really modern twist. It has a woven panel to form the 'garden fence', which is made with strips of fabric and a sweet little bird embroidery with a tiny touch of appliqué. The pattern includes full instructions and tracing diagram, as well as stitching suggestions. You can download the pattern from my Etsy shop by clicking here My Etsy Shop
If you need any help with the embroidery, there is a free 'Stitch Directory' that you can download and print out here or you can access it from the tutorials page.
It is always wonderful to give homemade gifts at Christmas time and this is a 'happy' present idea. Quick to make and fun too and a great starter idea if you are new to quilting and embroidery.
Kits will be available soon with a printed pattern, so check back soon!
Oh and just a quick reminder - I will be in the Atrium of St. James' Hospital in Leeds on Thursday 17th November with a display of quilts and embroideries, kits, patterns and fabrics. Hope you'll pop by if you are near.
